On May 8th, René 'resmo' Moser returns as presenter to give his talk «Hashi Nomad - Simple Container Cluster».

Alongside Kubernetes, Docker Swarm, and Apache Mesos, Hashicorp Nomad offers another solution for distributing workloads across multiple systems. resmo will cover the pros and cons of Nomad and explain why it can be a genuine alternative to the market leader, Kubernetes.

Furthermore, resmo will share the experiences he gained running production, high-availability systems with Nomad, as well as provide some hands-on insights and a demo showing how it works in a small homelab setup.

The presentation can be delivered in your choice of Bernese German, German, or English. The slides are in English. It is part of our ongoing lecture series.
